Energy & Vitality
Helps to support energy production in body cells.
Heart/Circulation
Coenzyme Q10 is a powerful free radical scavenger that may assist in maintaining peripheral circulation and may help reduce the oxidation of LDL (bad) cholesterol.
Coenzyme Q10 is a natural vitamin-like substance found in all body cells, particularly in the heart muscle. It is involved with the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is the basic energy unit of all cells, and declines as we age and with exercise. Coenzyme Q10 helps support the body’s own energy production mechanism; assists maintenance of heart health – in particular heart muscle function and peripheral circulation; and assists with reducing the oxidation of LDL-cholesterol (the so called ‘bad’ cholesterol).
Each soft gel capsule contains:
Ubidecarenone (Coenzyme Q10) 150 mg
Fish Oil – natural 150 mg
equivalent Omega-3 marine triglycerides 45 mg
d-alpha-Tocopherol (Vitamin E 50 IU) 33.6 mg
No added gluten, yeast, milk derivatives, salt, lactose, sugar, artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
Coenzyme Q10, also known as CoQ10, ubiquinone or ubidecarenone, is an intracellular free radical scavenger, thus it functions as a powerful antioxidant. It is a naturally occurring substance which plays a critical role in the production of cellular energy, therefore is of particular importance in conditions where energy production is sub-optimal.
Coenzyme Q10’s membrane stabilising effect and ability to support tissue oxygenation makes it of specific use in cells with a high energy turnover such as cardiac, muscle and white blood cells. Coenzyme Q10 stores decreases with ageing.
Adults: Take 1 capsule daily with food.
