3 YOUR HEALTH INFORMATION
Health information that we may collect from you (see clause 2(j) above) is sensitive health information under the Privacy Act. We will only collect this information with your express consent or where required by law (such as under the National Health Act 1953). If you do not provide this information, we may not be able to dispense medicines or provide pharmacy services to you.
4 PERSONAL INFORMATION OF MINORS
If we collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18, we will assess their capacity to consent on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APP) Guidelines. As a general principle, an individual under the age of 18 may have the capacity to consent if they demonstrate sufficient maturity to understand the nature and consequences of what is being proposed. Where it is determined that the individual does not have such capacity, we will seek verifiable consent from a parent or guardian.
If it is not practicable to assess capacity on a case-by-case basis, we will generally assume that individuals aged 15 and above have the capacity to provide consent, unless there are reasonable grounds to believe otherwise. 5 HOW WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION

6 COOKIES AND TRACKING
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website to provide and improve our services. Cookies are small data files stored on your device that help with:

We also disclose health information to healthcare providers involved in your care, and to government agencies such as Services Australia/Medicare as required for PBS claims and regulatory compliance.
Some service providers may be located overseas. We take reasonable steps to ensure all third parties (whether in Australia or overseas) handle your personal information consistently with the Privacy Act.

We take reasonable steps to ensure your personal information is secure and protected from misuse or unauthorised access. Our information technology systems are password protected, and we use a range of administrative and technical measures to protect these systems. However, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.
