This machine is an Automatic CPAP machine and varies the pressure according to your needs. There are many people ask the benfit of this and it simply means the machine monitors every breathe you take and adjusts the pressure according to your needs. There will be minimal snoring and apneas with an Auto Machine. Some doctors will prescribe specific pressure and if these are provided we will set the machine accordingly. If you are unsure put the minimum as 6cm H2O and the maximum as 20cm H2O
When it comes to communication, the DreamStation has almost all angles covered. The DreamMapper is an application from Philips Respironics which enables you to upload data from your machine to various devices. There is Bluetooth that you can use to connect your machine with your phone, computer or tablet. WiFi is also available in the event that you find yourself in the middle of nowhere but need to upload data to your machine. Most importantly we sell all our machines with built in modems which upload data to the cloud to be monitored whenever this is needed. We can send you or your doctor a copy of the report with a simple phone call to our office. Data from the modem will be uploaded to the application an hour after you have finished using your machine.
