HOW OFTEN
12 – Adult
DAY (blue Caplets): In the morning and in the afternoon as necessary, taken 4-6 hours apart, with water. (Maximum 4 DAY caplets in 24 hours)

NIGHTS (white Caplets): At bedtime with water. Do not use the DAY caplets within 6 hours of the NIGHT caplets. (Maximum 2 NIGHT caplets in 24 hours)
Do not give to children under 12 years of age
The night caplet may cause dizziness or drowsiness. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery
Avoid alcohol
Store below 30°C
INGREDIENTS
Each DAY caplet contains:
500mg Paracetamol
5mg Phenylephrine Hydrochloride
15mg Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide
Each NIGHT caplet contains:
500mg Paracetamol
5mg Phenylephrine Hydrochloride
15mg Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide
2mg Chlorpheniramine Maleate
Both caplets also contain Potassium Sorbate as preservative.

How often: Night (white caplets): At bedtime with water. Do not take the DAY tablets within 6 hours of the NIGHT caplets. (Maximum 4 NIGHT caplets in 24 hrs). Both caplets also contain Potassium sorbate as preservative.
- Do not give to children under 12 years of age
- If symptoms persist see your doctor.
- The night caplet may cause dizziness or drowsiness. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery.
- Avoid alcohol.
- The day caplet may cause sleeplessness if taken several hours before going to bed
Do Not Use Panadol Flu Strength Day & Night
- If you are allergic to paracetamol, phenylephrine, dextromethorphan, chlorpheniramine, other antihistamines or any other ingredient in the product
- If using other medicines containing paracetamol, phenylephrine, dextromethorphan, chlorpheniramine or other medicines for the relief of cough & colds, congestion or blocked nose
- In children under 12 years of age
- For more than 48 hours (for children 12-17 years) or more than a few days (adults), except on medical advice
- If you have chest infection, worsening asthma or severe breathing problems
- If you are taking or have taken in the past 2 weeks, medicines called monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI's ) usually used to treat depression
- If any of the seals on the package are broken
- If the package use-by date has expired
- Within several hours of going to bed as it may cause sleeplessness
Check with your doctor before using if you
- Have any medical conditions
- Are taking any regular medication
- Are pregnant, trying to become pregnant or breastfeeding
- Are elderly
Stop use and tell your doctor if you
- Have an allergic skin reaction, shortness of breath or wheezing after taking this medicine
- Have any unexplained bruising or bleeding
- Have unusually fast pulse or irregular heartbeat
Keep out of the reach of children
If an overdose is taken or suspected, ring the Poisons Information Centre (Aust: 131 126; NZ: 0800 764 766) or go to the hospital straight away if you feel well because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage if left untreated.
