What CalSource 1000 is used for:
CalSource Ca1000 is formulated to help strengthen bones and may assist in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. Vitamins can only be assistance if dietary vitamin intake is inadequate.

10 Effervescent tablets
Adults and children 12 years and over:
Take one tablet daily or as directed by your healthcare professional. Completely dissolve in a glass of water and drink immediately with or without food.

Do not use if you:
- are allergic to calcium or calcium salts.
- have raised levels of blood calcium.
- have increased calcium in your urine.
- have kidney problems such as kidney stones and calcium deposits in your kidney tissue.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you:
- have a kidney disorder or a history of kidney stones.
- are taking other medicines.
- are pregnant, trying to become pregnant or breastfeeding.
While you are using:
- Stop use and see your doctor if you have any signs of an allergy.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.
- You may experience some side effects which are rare, and may include excessive gas in the stomach or gut (flatulence), constipation, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.
Do not swallow or chew the tablet.
Do not use if tube seal is broken or missing.
Each effervescent tablet contains 1000 mg of calcium. Contains 136.9 mg (5.95 mmol) of sodium per tablet which should be taken into account by those on a low sodium diet. Phenylketonurics are warned that this product contains aspartame (phenylalanine). Flavouring contains sorbitol and dextrose.
