Destiny is a floral, fruity perfume and the third fragrance by Delta Goodrem. Top notes are mandarin mist, blackcurrant, waterlily and apricot nectar. The mid notes, sometimes referred to as heart notes are tiger orchid, night blooming jasmine, orange flower essence and plum blossom. Together with the mid notes, the base notes, which make up the main theme of the fragrance, are rosewood, tonka bean, vanilla elixir and patchouli leaf.

The heart of the fragrance shares Delta's joyous style with a hint of sweet honeysuckle that mingles harmoniously with jasmine pearls and wild orchid. Rooted in the background are ingredients that lay close to skin with the softest touch including creamy sandalwood and warm vanilla wrapped in a white musk to embody  pure luxury.
